Ugandan women's hockey champions Kampala Swans are leaving for Ismalia, Egypt, to compete at the Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) tournament set for January 30th to February 7th, 2025.
Having excelled in domestic competition last season, the team coached by Jordan Michael Mpiima and captained by Vanessa Abeja, has been flagged of by National Council of Sports (NCS) Ag. Assistant General Secretary Technical, Sarah Chelangat, and Sports Officer James Kasumba, at the Copper Chymney in Lugogo today.
Sponsored by government through NCS, as well as by Perfomance Hockey and Gorilla Leisure Lounge, the Kampala Swans will look to topple the best opposition from all across the continent.
