2024 has been a great year for Ugandan sports, with medal hauls at the African Games in Accra, Ghana, the Olympic Games and Paralympics in Paris France, as well as trophies, records and amazing feats from several other international sports engagements across the 51 sports disciplines.

It will also go down in the country's history as the year the revamp and construction of major sporting infrastructure were initiated in some cases and completed in others, huge projects that are transforming Uganda's sporting landscape for forever. 2025 has even more of the same lined up, and it is against this backdrop that we at the National Council of Sports wish our sports fraternity and all Ugandans a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
