UGANDA CRANES PROVISIONAL SQUAD NAMED FOR CHAN 2024
The African Nations Championships (CHAN) 2024 will be co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, marking the first time the event will be held in East Africa since Rwanda in 2016.
The CHAN tournament scheduled for August 2025 will feature 19 countries (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, Guinea, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Morocco, Central African Republic, Congo, DR Congo, Angola, Zambia, Madagascar and defending Champions Senegal) with participating players from local domestic leagues. The tournament will also set foundation in preparation for the joint hosting of 2027 AFCON by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
Today, the Uganda Cranes Head Coach, Paul Put has named the provisional Uganda Squad that will represent the Country at Press Conference at FUFA House, Mengo.
